About the company

JSC LENENERGO was founded by Presidential Decrees #922 (dated August 14, 1992), #923 (dated August 15, 1992) and #1334 (dated November 05, 1992) and registered by Resolution #2518 of the Registration Chamber of Saint-Petersburg Administration as of January 22, 1993. The Company is a successor of rights and obligations of LENENERGO, a state enterprise of power industry and electrification.

The Company’s main activities include: 

• Power transmission and services related to supply of users with electric power; 

• Grid connection of power-consuming equipment (power stations) of corporate entities and individuals. 

Tariffs for the Company’s services are established by the regional state regulators within the frameworks of decision taken by the Federal Tariff Service.

Today, JSC LENENERGO is servicing a large market of Saint-Petersburg and The Leningrad Region with an area of 86,739 square kilometers and a population of 6,213,748 people (4.6% of the country’s population).
